Now you can control up to 8 different Ultimatte 12 units at the same time via Ethernet. Smart Remote 4 features a 10.1 inch touchscreen for quickly navigating menus and adjusting settings, along with hard buttons with online and on air indicators for quickly switching between units. The file clear button automatically adjusts the most important settings to instantly give you incredible composites!

• High-speed, modern USB-C and HDMI connections.
• The rear panel now has two USB-C 5 Gbps ports for connecting an external mouse and keyboard, or for attaching USB-C storage devices to load still images and save or recall presets.
• There’s also an HDMI output, making it easy to connect to an external television or monitor for flexible display options.
• The front USB-C port provides the same functionality as the rear ports, as well as the ability to connect to a Mac or Windows for software updates and configuration using the Ultimatte Setup utility.

• RS422 and VGA ports have been removed.
• Uses a universal power supply with a locking connector (same as Video Assist).
• Instant boot on power up, as it now runs Blackmagic OS instead of Windows.
• Supported by the same Ultimatte Admin Utility used for Ultimatte units themselves, so a separate Smart Remote installer is no longer required.
• Supports current Ultimatte 12 models only: Ultimatte 12 8K, Ultimatte 12 4K, Ultimatte 12 HD, and Ultimatte 12 HD Mini. The legacy Ultimatte 12 (grey model with no LCD) is not currently supported.
• No firmware change is required for supported Ultimatte models.
• New SR4 and previous SR4 units can co-exist within the same system on the same network.
