The Trantec SJ22-P HM-22 flesh-coloured headworn microphone is offered for use in applications from security through aerobics to stage vocals.
One of the smallest and lightest headband microphones available, the Trantec SJ22-P HM-22 is worn around the head and may be hidden discreetly under the hair.
The capsule, optimised for speech and vocals, is mounted on a boom that can be bent into shape for best positioning. A small membrane in the capsule housing protects the capsule from moisture, make-up and any other contaminents. This can be replaced cheaply and simply to preserve optimum performance.
The headband is engineered from a hardwearing nylon composite, selected to withstand the most robust use and yet adjustable to fit the head and ear shape of the user.
Electret and condenser microphones used with radiomic transmitter body-packs usually require a low voltage supply that is normally provided by the pack. When used with other equipment adapters are required which take the place of the pack, plugging directly into a standard XLR-3 microphone connection. These derive a power supply for the microphone from a mixer or standard phantom power supply, and provides a balanced output.
