QAI Q-Trap This product has been described as our Q-Sorber product on steroids. While our other new treatments present amazing hybrid capabilities, this product focuses on one; wide band absorption including great effect at low frequencies. The unique design employs dual density fiberglass makeup cleverly integrated into a diaphragmatic frame and cavity. This product is the QAI high performance bass trap. In addition, its amazing low frequency absorption makes it our thin wall bass trap.
You’ll find Q-Traps behind main speakers, at SBIR reflection points and anywhere our engineers need to soak up harmful reflections at all frequencies. Used in conjunction with our other high technology treatments, the Q-Trap has become an essential tool required to create high performance home theater and sound rooms where a 4” deep treatment is possible.
