Not all USB-C devices use the same technology and therefore are not all compatible with a single adaptor.
Based on field feedback and testing, we suggest using Apple brand adaptors for Apple product, and Liberty brand adaptors for all others.
These Liberty HDMI Rings have 4K Versions of Display Port/Mini DP Adaptors which may have incompatibilities with certain computers and installations,
If compatibility is a concern and not running full 4k, recommend using standard 1080p Display Port Adaptor version (contact Chris Hobbs for more information)
